While traveling in Denmark and Sweden, I noticed many elements that appeared again and again. Although they fit into similar categories, each was uniquely designed. Studying these can offer helpful ideas for elements to include in other natural playgrounds.

They made real water and sand have places to go. They also had fake water that people could play and move around like a real creek, lake or pond.
